Rainfall Films

Rainfall Films is an independent film production company focused on high concepts made on economical budgets. Our results are only possible through the dedication, experience, and talent of our cast & crew; our combined experience covers award-winning feature films, commercials, music videos, short films, and new media content.

Although its members had been working together for years prior, Rainfall Films announced its official presence in April 2008, in conjunction with the release of The Legend of Zelda april fool's trailer. Based on the popular video game franchise, this trailer took nearly a full year to produce, and was released by IGN Entertainment Inc. on April 1. Rainfall Films took the project from conception to shooting and post-production. Within 24 hours of its release, it was watched over 2.5 million times, became the #1 video on MySpace and YouTube, and was the 4th most Googled term in the world. Variety declared it "the most watched trailer on the Internet."

Due to the popularity of the trailer, RainfallFilms.com had an incredibly successful launch. On April 1, the company became the 26th most Googled term in the world, and saw over 100,000 unique visitors to the website.

Rainfall is currently at work on a full production slate. In addition to film, television, and internet, the company focuses on visual effects production, music scoring, and sound design as part of its business core. Satisfied clients include Disney, Warner Bros Music, Universal Music, Sony BMG, 20th Century Fox, and G4 Television.
